I know I haven't started blogging yet and my goal is to blog regularly next school year. My hope is to share out all the amazing things we talk about and do in guidance at Parkview and Horizon!
Next year, I want to have a big focus on teaching students about how to connect with themselves and each other to be able to communicate their feelings and needs. This approach comes from NonViolent Communication that was developed by Marshall Rosenburg. For more information about NonViolent Communication, please refer to my Giraffe Language tab. I want to share with the families of the school district this language/communication style in hopes to strengthen family bonds and empower families to work together. More to come on this later, so please stay tuned!
